Your RPA insurance will not pay out in the event of a cyber incident if you have not registered for Police Cyber Alarm BUT are you using the data to protect against a cyber incident?
Many schools have now registered for Police CyberAlarm, but there is little point in registering if you’re not going to use it. Police CyberAlarm provides valuable forensic data that is incredibly valuable as an early warning tool against a compromise or suspicious cyber activity.
Most schools are not operating Police CyberAlarm and are missing out on a huge opportunity to protect against a cyber attack. For this reason, we have created Virtue Hosted Police CyberAlarm, a simple, affordable solution to protect your RPA Insurance and your school from a cyber incident.
Police CyberAlarm is an award-winning free tool, provided by your local police force and funded by the Home Office. Hosted and managed by Virtue Technologies, Police CyberAlarm is an effective cybersecurity layer to enable the detection and reporting of suspicious cyber activity and vulnerabilities.
Installed and set up by our cybersecurity engineers, we ensure the system is configured correctly, with your encrypted data hosted in our UK based secure datacentre. We also work directly with the Police CyberAlarm team to resolve any technical issues, ensuring the system is running correctly, even managing system patches to keep your service up-to-date.
