As part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we recently conducted a review with our top 15 suppliers to better understand their CSR practices. The results provide valuable insights into how our partners are addressing environmental and social issues within their own operations and supply chains. Below are the key findings:

Reporting

40 percent

40% of our suppliers publish an Environmental Report.

75 percent

Of those, 75% also publish a CSR/Sustainability Report, demonstrating transparency and accountability.

Policies & Procedures

80 percent

80% of our suppliers have implemented an environmental policy.

90 percent

90% of our suppliers have established a formal social policy, showing a commitment to employee welfare and community impact.

Management Systems

70 percent

70% of our suppliers have an environmental management system in place, with 71% of these systems certified, reflecting efforts to align with recognised standards.

80% have systems in place to manage social issues, of which 60% are certified. 

Monitoring & Measuring

80% of our suppliers have conducted environmental audits at their sites.

Supply Chain

60% have a formal CSR/Sustainability policy for their own suppliers, demonstrating a commitment to extend CSR practices throughout their supply chains.

Supplier monitoring methods include:

  • Self-assessment questionnaires
  • Regular supplier meetings
  • Supplier CSR codes of conduct
  • Performance appraisals integrating social and environmental principles
