As part of an established and exciting growth plan our Relationship Managers are an integral part of the sales process by collaborating with outside sales to deliver outstanding service to our customers. Supporting the outside sales team this is an exciting opportunity to drive progression within the company, take ownership, and deliver the development of a critical area in Virtue’s growth. 

InVentry Sales Support for designated sector(s) within the geographical territory 

  • Primary, Secondary, Further Education 
  • National 

Build relationships both externally and internally to engage prospects, customers and internal teams, manufacturers and partners alike. Facilitate conversations with existing and prospective clients; it is very hands-on, working with our growing Team and following up directly with leads to drive new business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Represent Virtue Technologies as a central point of contact for our customers

    2. Portfolio management to include: 

      Regular communication with designated accounts to: 

        • Provide admin support to the InVentry Relationship Manager
        • Manage renewals, i.e., contact customer with upcoming renewal, provide a quotation when necessary
        • Ensure customer hardware is in warranty, if not, quote on a replacement (i.e., System Refresh) 
        • Ensure licenses and dates/customer details are up to date on CRM
        • Follow up on outstanding quotations sent to customer
        • Arrange meetings for any new InVentry leads for the RM
        • Enquire on customers satisfaction when speaking to them about renewals
        • Identify opportunities during renewal stage of upselling/cross selling
        • Identify opportunities to promote other services that we offer 

          3. CRM 

          • Document all customer engagement and sales activities in CRM using the CRD document.
          • Ensure CRM customer details are up to date
          • Maintain all support and maintenance entitlements within assigned accounts

          4. In collaboration with the field Relationship Managers, prepare and maintain a weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast within CRM to include:

          • New business
          • Repeat business
          • Support and maintenance renewal

          5. Actively participate in team meetings to review important updates and changes, pipeline and forecasts

          6. Be pro-active with problem resolution by handling queries and returns within designated accounts

          7. Achieve and exceed all targets and assigned objectives

          8. Take ownership for own development and progression

          Education/Qualifications

          Essential:

          • Maths and English O Level/GCSE or equivalent 

          Desirable:

          • Recognised Sales Training (e.g. SPIN, Open and Closed Questioning) 
          • Degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
          Experience

          Essential:

          • Experience in a sales role. 

          Desirable:

          • Worked within the IT sector
          • Worked directly in or with the Education sector
          Skills/Knowledge

          Essential:

          • Ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
          • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong customer and internal relationships
          • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
          • Ability to take initiative and identify opportunities for growth 
          • Strong admin skills 

          Desirable:

          • Hands on experience with CRM software and Account management systems. 
          Aptitudes/Attributes

          Desirable:

          • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
