General Overview of the Position
Virtue Technologies has a real focus and passion for the Education sector and has been a leading provider of IT solutions to primary and secondary schools, multi-academy trusts and FE colleges since 2006.
Marketing Executive is part of the Sales and Marketing Team supporting delivery of the company Marketing Plan. Essential to the role is engaging with colleagues and partners to support the achievement of the Sales Plan. Demonstrating Virtue’s values, the Marketing Executive builds and maintains relationships with internal colleagues, suppliers, partners and customers to support company growth.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing:
- Contributing to campaign creation
- Generating leads to drive opportunities into the sales team
- Updating and cleansing data
- Assessing campaigns and generating actions to improve
- Owning and delivering social media coverage and engagement
Growth:
- Assessing effectiveness of campaigns and generating actions for improvements
- Working closely with Account Managers to identify opportunities for new campaigns
Engagement and relationships:
- Engage with and build relationships with colleagues and external contacts to achieve your objectives
- Engage with and build relationships with colleagues to achieve their objective
Values:
- Demonstrate Virtue’s values in all relationships
Other such reasonable duties within the general scope of the job title.
Education/Qualifications
Essential:
- English GCSE (or equivalent)
Desirable:
- Degree in digital marketing or related field
Experience
Desirable:
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Skills/Knowledge
Essential:
- Microsoft Office skills to include Word and Excel
Desirable:
- Microsoft SharePoint including Teams
- Understanding of spreadsheets
- Hands on experience with CRM, such Dynamics 365 and Sales force
- MailChimp or similar
- Adobe Photoshop or similar
Aptitudes/Attributes
Essential:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Be innovative, highly organised and collaborative
- Organised and ability to meet deadlines with tight timescales
- Must be able to adapt to a changing plan at short notice
- Have an eye for detail and accuracy
- Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
- Diplomatic and authoritative when faced with difficult conversations
